Welcome! I’m Dr. Masroor Shariff, founder of Phoenix Dental and a proud Floridian who’s called Tampa home for over 34 years. Dentistry isn’t just my profession—it’s my purpose. I opened this practice to create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. No white-coat pressure. No unnecessary treatment. Just honest, compassionate care with your best interest at heart.
I take pride in delivering high-quality, patient-centered dentistry using modern techniques and technology, but with an old-school commitment to integrity and trust. Whether you're here for a routine cleaning, cosmetic work, or restorative care, you can expect treatment that’s clear, thoughtful, and never rushed.
I built Phoenix Dental from the ground up to reflect values that matter: transparency, comfort, and connection. My goal is to make every patient feel safe, informed, and confident in their care whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
My educational journey began right here in Tampa, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Master of Science in Medical Sciences with a focus in Aging and Neurosciences from the University of South Florida. I went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida. Throughout dental school, I remained in excellent academic standing and was honored with the LECOM Scholarship Award for four consecutive years.
Born in India and raised in the U.S. since childhood, I’ve always valued community, integrity, and faith. Outside the office, I unwind through stories that spark the imagination, challenge the mind, and offer moments of laughter—whether on screen or in spirit. I value lifelong learning, meaningful conversations, and staying grounded no matter how busy life gets. Most of all, time with family keeps me centered and inspired.
